May 2008            Jeff's Journal He Looked Beyond My Fault and Saw My Need      He looked beyond my fault and saw my need were the words that pierced my heart while sitting at the funeral of the legendary singer and songwriter Dottie Rambo. Although I had heard those very words many times before it seemed that I was hearing them for the first time. It also reminded me of another song written by another writer, "When He Was On the Cross, I Was On His Mind." Isn't it truly amazing that the King of Kings and Lord of Glory looked beyond my faults and saw my need? I still stand amazed that he knew how I would fail Him and many times be disobedient yet he loved me so much even while he endured so much pain and agony that he would still suffer the cross so that I could have eternal life. Of course, not only did Jesus do this for me, he did it for everyone. Then the question appears, why would anyone turn away someone who would pay such a great price just for them? If you don't know him, please take advantage of the greatest love known to man seek him and he will look beyond all of your faults and fill your every need. Until Next Time, Jeff
